Avilon Zoo

My cousins from Qatar arrive last June and one of the places they want to visit here in the Phils is Avilon Zoological Park in Montalban, Rizal. Avilon Zoo is currently my favorite:D It is the largest in the Philippines, with a 7.5 hectare wide land area. Super lawak ng place, kulang ang 2 hours para maikot lahat.Buti na lng hindi nagpabuhat mga junakis ko sa'kin :P sobrang excited sila makita mga animals from Arapaima fish, crocodiles, gorilla, to super cute meerkat. It has a wide range of animals (wala nga lng sila elephant at giraffe)  compared to other zoos here in the Phils. nakakapagod pero masaya. Next time na babalik ako doon, i'll make sure to bring more bottled water and anti-mosquito lotion.:P

Nutrition Month is a special health awareness campaign that carries the theme:Pagkain ng gulay ugaliin, araw-araw itong ihain. Ang campaign daw na ito ay para mabigyan ng impormasyon at mapaliwanagan lalo ang mga magulang pra sa tamang pagkain para sa knilang mga anak. Here at Brain Apple Learning, they encourage pupils to wear go/grow/glow food costumes, for them to understand the importance of eating the right food. I chose to make a chicken costume for my Mouxsie for their school activity. It's Moux first time to join nutrition month, kaya ang mommy, ngarag ng pamimili sa divi at pag gawa ng costume ng mga junakis, syempre hndi rin pahuhuli si bunso, dapat meron din siya, at cow costume nman:D  

   

(materials for chicken: yellow na tela na pinatahi ko ng overall, feathers (P35/pack; i bought 5), maskara (kinulayan ko ng white at red), gluestick (dinikit ko isa-isa ung feathers), yellow-white striped socks, at brown boots. (materials for cow, tela na may cow prints (sa tabora sa may DV din;P60/yard; pinatahi ko ng overall), ung head gear niya, nabili ko lng sa surplus)
